Aaron Kingdon leads Blue Spinel’s Operations and Integrated Logistics and sustainment advisory practice, ensuring programs deliver not only operational capability but also long-term supportability.
As an Army Veteran, Aaron brings more than18 years of experience in operations leadership, logistics capability and supply chain management across complex commercial environments.
His previous roles include Head of Operations at Umart Online, Head of Operations at Greenbox Group.
At Blue Spinel, Aaron leads the ILS and sustainment advisory capability, helping clients ensure capability remains operationally effective across the full lifecycle.
Paul
Spencer
Managing Director, Director of Portfolio, Program & Project Delivery
Paul Spencer leads Blue Spinel’s portfolio, program and project delivery advisory practice, providing strategic leadership across complex capability programs.
Paul is a senior executive and program leader with more than 20 years of experience delivering large-scale transformation and operational capability programs across, defence, aviation, aerospace, infrastructure and federal government environments.
His experience includes senior leadership roles with Airservices Australia, DXC Technology, Northrop Grumman Australia, Airbus and the Department of Defence, where he has led major initiatives focused on operational transformation, digital capability and agile program delivery.
At Blue Spinel, Paul provides strategic delivery leadership, helping clients structure, govern and execute complex programs from mobilisation through to delivery.
Catherine Spencer
Director of Commercial & Contracting
Catherine Spencer leads Blue Spinel’s commercial, procurement and contracting advisory practice, supporting clients in structuring commercial arrangements that enable successful program delivery.
Catherine brings more than 15 years of experience across defence industry engagement, commercial strategy and campaign management, including roles with Airbus in the Australia Pacific region.
Her expertise includes defence procurement environments, commercial strategy, supplier engagement, contracting frameworks and defence
industry partnerships.
At Blue Spinel, Catherine leads the firm’s commercial and contracting advisory capability, helping organisations structure procurement and contracting approaches that support complex capability programs.

Director of Quality Assurance & Risk
Scott Brown leads Blue Spinel’s quality, governance and independent assurance practice, supporting organisations delivering complex programs where confidence in delivery is critical.
As an Army Veteran, Scott brings more than 30 years of experience across government and commercial sectors, including advisory and delivery roles with KBR.
His experience spans independent program assurance, governance framework development, delivery health reviews, organisational quality systems and capability maturity assessments.
At Blue Spinel, Scott leads the firm’s assurance capability, helping clients strengthen delivery confidence, governance discipline and performance visibility across major programs.
